Evan DeVitto is a visual artist based in Los Angeles, California, whose work explores the interplay of color, form, and rhythm through bold, abstract compositions. Raised in Rochester, NY, Evan developed a passion for creativity early on, playing nearly ten different instruments before pursuing a degree in Music Technology at New York University.
After more than a decade working in New York City as a sound mixer in the film industry, Evan transitioned into aviation, where he now teaches students how to fly airplanes. Despite his professional shift, art and creativity have remained constant threads in his life — from music and photography to painting and design.
Evan’s current body of work centers on vibrant abstract paintings, where bright colors and flowing shapes capture both spontaneity and structure. Influenced by his background in sound and rhythm, his paintings often feel like visual scores — playful yet deliberate, with movement echoing across the canvas.
Since relocating to Los Angeles in 2021, Evan has continued to expand his artistic practice, blending his diverse experiences into a distinctive visual voice that celebrates imagination, curiosity, and expression.
